Los modelos Kia K3 Sedán y Kia K3 Cross, diseñados específicamente para el mercado latinoamericano y producidos en la planta de Kia en Nuevo León, México, han sido galardonados con la máxima calificación de seguridad de 5 estrellas por el Programa de Evaluación de Vehículos Nuevos para América Latina y el Caribe, Latin NCAP. Seguridad y tecnología avanzada
